Macro: Update_COVID19_CEE_OverviewMeasures_08_10_2020

Recent developments:
POLAND
- New record of daily cases reached again. The government responded with additional local measures on top of others which were already set to be implemented this weekend and declared the whole country a yellow zone (exluding those marked as red zones).
CZECHIA
- On Oct 5, state of emergency was declared for 30 days
- High schools in most affected regions close for two weeks. In whole CZ second grade classes will be divided in half for online classes. Remote classes are also mandatory for universities except for medics.
SLOVAKIA
- New record highs of daily cases recorded in last days.
KOSOVO
- Daily cases on a downward trend. Starting from September the average number of new daily infection has dropped under 100.
ROMANIA
- Number of new daily COVID-19 cases has increased again recently, reaching a new peak.
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
- COVID-19 numbers of infected have stabilized in the past two weeks. Average number of cases in the first week of October was down to 209 from peak of 269 in August. Local breakouts in south, while capital city Sarajevo has been stabilized.
CROATIA
- The trend of relatively high numbers of new cases has rebound.
RUSSIA
- Targeted measures in Moscow: distance work, extended school break, public transport cards for people in risk groups frozen.
