Monthly Update - Inflation for July
• Turkstat released the inflation data for July 2021. Accordingly, CPI increased by 1.80% MoM coming above the consensus of 1.57%. This brought the YoY CPI to 18.95%. On MoM basis, Food and non-alcoholic beverages, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and Hotels, cafes and restaurants are among the sub-segments which had the highest MoM increases, while Clothing and footwear and Furnishing, household equipment, routine maintenance of the house showed the MoM decline.• PPI increased by 2.46% YoY and 44.92% YoY. Energy sub-segment showed the highest MoM growth while capital goods and durable consumer goods had the lowest MoM growth among
