ODD Data November 2021 Comment
Automotive Sales in November• According to Automotive Distributors’ Association (ODD) data, auto market contracted by 25% y/y to 60,216 units in November 2021. (November 2020: 80,141) While the passenger cars sales were 42,982 units (down by 33% y/y), LCV sales realized at 17,234 (up by 9% y/y).
• TOASO’s sales declined by 33% y/y to 9,703 units. TOASO’s PC sales were down by 68% y/y, and its LCV sales increased by 58% y/y. TOASO’s market share contracted to 16.1% in November, compared to 21.8% in October.
• FROTO’s sales were down by 63% y/y to 4,054 units. FROTO’s PC sales decreased by 91% y/y, and its LCV sales were down by 46% y/y. FROTO’s market share contracted to 6.7% in November, compared to 11.7% in October.
• DOAS’s sales contracted by 40% y/y to 6,219 units. DOAS’s PC sales were down by 45% y/y, and its LCV sales were increased by 43% y/y. DOAS’s market share decreased to 10.3% in November compared to 19.8% in October.
