Semperit - Sempermed for sale

-Semperit announced to divest the medical business, Sempermed devision. The company aims to focus on the Industrial Sector going forward, transforming Semperit into an industrial rubber specialist. No further details on the divestment of Sempermed were released.

-After the recent impairment the book value of Sempermed stands at EUR 77 mn, thereof the working capital value stands at EUR 59 mn and EUR 13 mn is attributable to PPE
-Divesting the medical business, Semperit targets an EBITDA margin of approx. 13% vs. the target of 10% in its current group structure.
-The group plans to grow again into a significantly higher revenues through organic growth and M&A.
