Turkey Wake-up call: Macro, Political and Equity News, 21st September
BIST added 0.12% on Friday, while the industrial index was the main contributor with 0.27% increase. KRDMD, DOHOL, ARCLK, KOZAA, KOZAL and TCELL were among the gainers while, VAKBN, EREGL, KCHOL, PGSUS and TRKCM were the main decliners. Today, our local macro agenda is quiet, where the all eyes will be on the Central Bank of Turkey’s interest rate decision on Thursday (the consensus stands at no change in the policy rate 8.25%).
