Turkey Wake-up call: Macro, Political and Equity News, 25th August
BIST-100 advanced 0.45% yesterday, mainly led by solid performance of transportation index. The banking and industrial indices stayed almost flat yesterday while transportation index improved by 2.55%. TAVHL, PGSUS, THYAO, TCELL and KCHOL topped the non-bank gainers while GUBRF, SISE, KOZAA, HALKB and KOZAL were some of the weak spots. We expect sideways opening for the headline index.
