UNIQA Company News - Capital Market Day UNIQA 3.0, cost reductions to drive performance

UNIQA held its Capital Market Day, presenting the companys new UNIQA 3.0 strategy which is to be accomplished by 2025, with also medium term targets for FY 22 being published. The strategy is mainly driven by cost savings as synergies surrounding the AXA acquisition in CEE (EUR 45 mn) and restructuring cost savings in Austria (EUR 40 mn personnel, EUR 85 mn non-personnel) are to be realized in the coming years. Additionally, the company is putting focus on improving its service offering, simplifying products (decreasing number and standardizing them), international expansion through online sales channels mostly in Wester Europe and refocusing the Austrian Life portfolio to improve profitability, among other initiatives.
