UNIQA Company News - Profit warning and lower dividend
1Q 20 strongly impacted: UNIQA issued a profit warning today based on their initial work on the result for the first quarter of 2020. As a result of the negative effects of COVID-19 the investment income of the company will be significantly affected and as a result the company expects negative PBT in the low double-digit EUR mn range for 1Q 20.Profit warning for FY 20: Due to the uncertainty regarding the current crisis UNIQA withdraws its guidance for FY 20 (previously result expected to be approximately at the level of 2019) and flags the possibility of a negative PBT for the full year 2020.
