The technical situations of the both US and German bond markets look like long-term bull trends have been broken and top formations completed.

Fundamentally, international bond markets are now reacting to bearish macroeconomic factors. These include the inflationary consequences of a loosening of Trump's fiscal policies, the scaling back of the ECB's Eurozone QE program and the likely avoidance of trade wars.
