Seven Days Ahead Weekly Multi Asset Technical Strategies 26th June 2018

This week's Multi-Asset Technical Strategies is attached.

CURRENCIES

The Currencies now look as if they can bounce somewhat. The Euro especially, but also Sterling as the impetus for the bear trend there has lessened because the market has achieved the initial short and medium-term targets. But in both cases of the Euro and Sterling the big picture remains very bearish for currencies. Sterling Euro and Dollar Yen remain within important trading ranges.

STOCKS: The S&P remains solidly set up long medium and short term, but the EuroStoxx looks especially vulnerable. So too is the FTSE especially in the short and medium term. Watch the important close supports of the Nikkei that are being tested.

BONDS The pause in the TNote has allowed sharp bounces in the Gilt and even more so, in the Bund. They now look reasonably well set up with scope for a some more on the upside, if not yet the basis of a fresh bull leg.

COMMODITIES: Oil has convincingly bounced and looks set to resume the big bull trend which we believe has some way to go still. Gold looks to have broken down and there looks to be more on the downside there.
