Binasat Communications Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company, which provides management services to its subsidiaries in Binasat Group. The Group is principally engaged in the provision of supporting services for satellite, mobile and fiber optic telecommunications networks. Its major revenue stream is from Satellite network service segment, which is engaged in the installation and commissioning of very-small-aperture terminal (VSAT) ground stations, as well as satellite hubs and related equipment at teleports; the operation and maintenance of ground stations and hubs, and the provision of uplink and downlink services. Its Mobile telecommunication network segment provides the installation, operation and maintenance of base transceiver stations (BTS) that are parts of mobile networks. Its Fiber optic telecommunications network segment covers the outside and inside plant installation of fiber optic cables, as well as the installation of related network equipment.
