Through its subsidiary, Broadway Federal Bank, f.s.b., the company is engaged in accepting deposits from the general public in the areas surrounding its branch offices and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, primarily in mortgage loans secured by residential properties with five or more units (multi-family), commercial real estate and residential properties with one-to-four units (single family). In addition, the company invests in securities issued by federal government agencies, residential mortgage-backed securities and other investments.
