FBL Financial Group sells individual life insurance and annuity products primarily under the consumer brand name Farm Bureau Financial Services. The company has three segments: Annuity, which consists of fixed rate and indexed annuities and supplementary contracts (some of which involve life contingencies); Life Insurance, which sells a variety of conventional and universal life insurance products through its agency force; and Corporate and Other, which includes among others, wealth management services; advisory services for the management of investments for other companies; a management fee for managing the affiliated property-casualty companies; and variable life and accident and health products.
