Through its banking subsidiary, Farmers and Merchants Trust Company of Chambersburg (the Bank), the company is engaged in general commercial, retail banking and trust services. The Bank's lending activities consist primarily of commercial real estate, construction and land development, agricultural, commercial and industrial loans, installment and revolving loans to consumers and residential mortgage loans. The Bank also provides various deposit products including demand deposits (noninterest and interest-bearing accounts), savings, money management accounts, and time deposits (certificates of deposits).
