Nickel Asia is a lateritic nickel ore mining and production group based in the Philippines. Co. exports both saprolite and limonite ore to customers in Japan and China. Co.'s customers use its ore for the production of ferronickel and nickel pig iron, both used to produce stainless steel, and for the production of pig iron used for carbon steel. Co. is also the exclusive supplier of limonite ore from its Rio Tuba mine to its hydrometallurgical nickel processing plant, Coral Bay. Co. maintains four operating mines and has seven properties in various stages of exploration for nickel.
