Penguen Gida Sanayi AS is a Turkey-based food manufacturing company. The Company is engaged in the production and marketing of vegetable and fruit preserves, tomato and pepper pastes, jams, pickles, ready-made meals, frozen fruits and vegetables, fruit preparations and dried fruit candies. It markets its products under the Penguen brand, and also produces private label products for chain stores in Turkey and abroad. It exports its products to countries, such as Germany, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia and Sweden. Apart from supermarket chains, the Company supplies a selection of items to middle-sized retailers, as well as to hotels, restaurants and cafeterias. The Company has production facilities comprising an indoor area of 75,000 square meters built on an area of 250,000 square meters. In July 2013, the Company sold its 25% stake in Penkon Gida Sanayi AS to Anadolu Etap Tarim ve Gida Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AS.
