Co. operates in two segments: Life science portfolio, which invests in those whose activities focus on actively developing products to deliver transformational treatments for patients; and Funds portfolio, which invests in a diversified portfolio of hedge, equity and long-term alternative investment funds across multiple asset classes (Equity hedge funds, Equity funds, Fixed income and credit funds, Global macro funds, Other strategies, and Commodity funds). As of Mar 31 2017, Co.'s investment portfolio consisted of seven life science investments and a range of fund investments.
