Wilson ASA. Wilson ASA is a Norway-based company active within the shipping industry. It is primarily engaged in the operation of smaller bulk freighters and general cargo vessels, as well as self dischargers and container vessels. The Company is operational through 16 wholly owned subsidiaries, three partially owned subsidiaries and two affiliated companies. Two of the wholly owned subsidiaries are principal for the Company's operations: Wilson EuroCarriers AS (WEC) and Wilson Ship Management AS (WSM). WEC is a chartering company and it provides transportation of large bulk and parcel volumes to industrial customers in Norway and Europe. The major bulk cargoes are fertilizers, coal, quartz, split, aluminum, steel, minerals, grain, ore and other. WSM is engaged in the management of a number of vessels owned by Wilson. In August 2014, Wilson ASA sold bulk vessel MV Wilson Tana.
