Ardagh' solid 1Q18: metal up, glass down, on track for improving credit
Ardagh, the world’s top 3 metal and glass packager, has reported solid 1Q18 results with sales of $2,224m, up 13% (5% excluding $154m FX translation), and EBITDA of $348m, up 9% (1% excluding $25m FX translation). Metal packaging (64% of sales) grew 13% organically, boosted by a stellar 21% growth in volume in the Americas, against 3% in Europe.
