Headquartered in Birmingham, UK, Boparan is the holding company of the 2 Sisters Food Group, a food manufacturer with a core focus on poultry. Since the acquisition of Northern Foods in 2011 for c. £550m (including assumed debt), the group has diversified its offering with bakery, chilled, and frozen food categories. In early 2013, it acquired the UK red meat and poultry segments of the Vion Group for £36m (loss-making at that time).
