​SIG, the Switzerland-based world’s second-largest manufacturer of aseptic carton packaging solutions, has released fairly good 4Q15 results. Good level of activity in a context of European economic slowdown. SIG business keeps singing the same old song. All the performance was still derived from higher volumes in Asia (30% of sales), the Americas (16% of sales) and in the Middle-East (12% of sales). Meanwhile Europe (42% of sales) showed further slowdown and has been the scene of a fierce competition with the market leader Tetra Pak. In a quarter of high seasonality, 4Q15 Revenue came in at €469m, up +6% yoy at constant currency, representing an acceleration on the +2% increase in 3Q15.
