Solocal – the French leader in local advertising and information searches - held a conference call this morning to discuss weak 3Q16 results. Revenue was down by 7% yoy to €197m while EBITDA declined by 24% to €60m. Earnings continued to be affected by the structural decline in revenue in the print segment (-32%) which was far from being offset by internet revenue growth (+3% yoy). The latter was limited by Solocal’s incapacity to invest in telesales as the company remained constrained by its bank covenants...​
