Increased risk weighs on TATA STEEL, penalising its rating down to Neutral
The independent financial analyst theScreener just lowered the general evaluation of TATA STEEL (IN), active in the Steel industry. As regards its fundamental valuation, the title still shows 1 out of 4 possible stars. Its market behaviour, however, has slightly deteriorated and will be qualified as moderately risky moving forward. theScreener considers that these new qualifications justify an overall rating downgrade to Neutral. As of the analysis date November 26, 2021, the closing price was INR 1,112.30 and its target price was estimated at INR 1,037.97.Tata Steel is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of steel and its related products. Through its joint ventures, Co. is also engaged in iron ore and coal exploration and mining activities. Co.'s products include hot and cold rolled coils and sheets, galvanized sheets, tubes, wire rods, construction rebars and bearings. Co.'s products are sold under the following brand names: Tata Steelium, Tata Shaktee, Tata Tiscon, Tata Bearings, Tata Agrico, Tata Wiron, Tata Pipes and Tata Structura. Apart from these product brands, Co. also has in its folds a service brand called "steeljunction".
