Founded in 2021, BVI-based Vinanz is a London-listed Bitcoin mining company focused on decentralized deployment of Bitcoin mining clusters in multiple data facilities throughout the US and Canada. The stock trades on the London AQSE under the ticker BTC.AQ and on the OTCQB under the ticker VINZF. The company has 131 million ordinary shares, with 30% in public hands, and has raised £1 million to date. The company has 30 petahash of mining capacity. Lenigas discussed the company’s capital-light business model. Outsourcing Vinanz’s mining operations makes the company nimble and able to spin up clusters of mining machines where needed. The allows the company to stay away from any debt and just focus on growth and profitability. Lenigas described this as a slower but much more stable path along its Bitcoin and blockchain journey. The company recently became Depository Trust Company (DTC) eligible, which allows its stock to be actively traded online in real time in US$ with US paper. Vinanz had to overcome significant hurdles for foreign issuers to become DTC eligible. Lenigas sees this as a key event in getting the company’s US volumes up. Lenigas and Vinanz management believe Bitcoin (BTC) will appreciate 20-30x in the next four years. Many BTC bulls see it in the 8-10x level. Given this bullish position, Vinanz holds a significant amount of BTC.
