Water Tower Hour Recap

On the most recent Water Tower Hour podcast, we sat down with WTR’s Chief Revenue Officer Tim Regan to preview our inaugural Consumer Products Virtual Investor Conference, which will be held on June 5 and 6. Those interested can listen to this podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or on our website. Links in our full report. Presenting companies as of today are shown on the right. They cover a broad market capitalization spectrum, with about one-third being more than $500 million, one-third between $100 million and $500 million, and one-third being less than $100 million; from Sherwin-Williams, the widely known paints giant, to Flow Beverage, the Canadian premium beverage company. Given our background covering direct-to-consumer names, that cohort is well represented with six companies presenting. We also have two fashion names, as well as three furniture companies covered by WTR’s Consumer Hardlines analyst Budd Bugatch, and two emerging growth companies covered by WTR’s Thierry Wuilloud. We are also pleased to feature R.J. Hottovy, who is the Head of Analytical Research at Placer.ai, as the keynote speaker for the event. Hottovy held analyst roles on the Street in the consumer space in the past, and also has experience in early stage investing. He is now with a firm that specializes in accumulating massive amounts of street-level data for the offline decision makers in the retail ecosystem, including crime, traffic counts, property sales, planned development, foot traffic, demographics, retail sales trends, etc. The company has developed a world-class mobile analytics product that is used by more than 1,000 customers, with thousands more using its free products.
