Water Tower Hour Recap

We recently joined WTR’s Chief Revenue Officer Tim Regan on the Water Tower Hour podcast to discuss the upcoming WTR AI and Technology Conference on April 10 and 11 in New York City. Those interested can listen to this podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, or on our website. Links accessible in our full report. Investors interest in AI and crypto continues to grow as adoption climbs, with the main driver of adoption being solving real world problems. Artificial intelligence (AI) is all the buzz, but for good reason. AI is being used to automate and optimize many tasks previously thought to be beyond computers. Large companies like Google and Microsoft are big in AI, but is that going to lead to outsized growth? Smaller companies have the chance to revolutionize their business and revenue growth with AI. With bitcoin holding near $65,000 and a halving coming (slowing the growth of bitcoins), ETFs from iShares, Fidelity, Franklin, and ARK have all seen significant interest. The key looks to be the supply of bitcoins starting to get close to the limit of 21 million bitcoins globally. So far, around 19 million have been released. While previous halving events have not driven bitcoin to rise, it does bring the scarcity question into the forefront. If bitcoin continues to gain the attention of investors, companies in the business of bitcoin processing, like those presenting at our conference, may start to get more attention. AI companies presenting include AAC Clyde Space (LSE: 0GFN.L), Crexendo (NASDAQ: CXDO), Cyngn (NASDAQ: CYN), Gorilla Technology Group (NASDAQ: GRRR), Nowigence (NASDAQ: NOWG), Perfect Corp. (NYSE: PERF), SES AI (NYSE: SES), Sidus Space (NASDAQ: SIDU), Soluna Holdings (NASDAQ: SLNH), and SOVA (private). Crypto-enabling companies presenting include Bakkt (NYSE: BKKT), Galaxy Digital Holdings (TSX: GLXY), and WonderFi Technologies (OTCQB: WONDF).
