Precious and Base Metals - Quiet, but gently firmer
In thin Thanksgiving Day trading the US dollar weakened and this allowed precious metals prices to pick up a little more. Gold prices rose US$5 per ounce ($/oz) and £5/oz to just under $1,295/oz and just under £975/oz respectively. Silver gained five cents/oz at $17.15/oz; platinum was up less than $5/oz at almost $940/oz and palladium jumped nearly $10/oz to almost $1,015/oz.Berkeley Energia is engaged in the uranium exploration and development in Spain. Co. focused on developing Europe's uranium project, the Salamanca mine.
