Caledonia Mining (CMCL) - Record quarterly gold production
The Zimbabwean gold miner appears to be putting its production issues behind it.Q3 production of gold from its Blanket mine was a new record and was up 15% on Q2 and 7% higher than the same quarter last year. From a range of 52-57,000 ounces (oz) for the whole of 2017, they now expect to produce 54-56,000 oz.
They are back on track to reach their 80,000 ounce per annum short term production target.
