Base Metals - Copper prices increase yet again

Copper prices were further propelled higher as Rio Tinto (RIO) downgraded full year copper production to 460-480,000 tonnes (t) from 500-550,000 t owing to a variety of issues at Escondida, Kennecott and Oyu Tolgoi. Copper was also supported by optimism over the Chinese party congress and continuing hopes for electric vehicles.
