EME Equity Market – March 2026 All indices decline, with Greek ASE posting the steepest loss. The MSCI EM Europe Index fell 8.0% mom in EUR terms and 10.8% mom in USD terms in March. The Greek ASE was the worst performer (-9.3% mom); followed by the Czech PX (-6.7% mom); the Hungarian BUX (-6.2% mom); the Turkish ISE30 (-5.1% mom); and the Polish WIG20 (-4.5% mom; all in EUR terms). On Friday (27 February), 4iG reported its 4Q25 results, with sales of HUF 195.8bn (up 2% yoy, but 5% below our estimate), EBITDA of HUF 82.3bn (up 35% yoy, 30% above our estimate) and a net loss of HUF 5.4bn (vs. the HUF 12.1bn net loss in 4Q24 and our HUF 7.5bn net loss forecast). Yesterday (26 February), after the close, Hidroelectrica reported its 4Q25 preliminary results. The adjusted EBITDA stood at RON 1.58bn, 80% higher yoy and 17% above our estimate, adjusted for the impairments related to PP&E. Accounting for these adjustments, the EBITDA came in at RON 1.32bn, in line with our estimate of RON 1.31bn. The net result reached RON 0.99bn (+66% yoy) and was 6% above our estimate, on a lower effective tax rate than we assumed in our model.
