CCK, the US metal cans maker, held a conference call this afternoon to present satisfactory 3Q16 results. Yoy organic sales were down 3% to $2.3bn. The pace of decline was in line with previous quarters, reflecting the still huge exposure to sluggish Europe (44% of sales) and food products (> 35%). However, the group is gaining traction in the more growing beverage can business in the Americas and Asia.
