EI Sturdza Strategic Europe Quality Fund wins top awards as one of the best performing equity funds

- Awarded one of the best equity funds at the Investors Choice Awards 2020 due to strong performance compared to its peer group

- Euro Fund Research rates the European Equity Fund with fund grade 1

Frankfurt, 21. July 2020 - The EI Sturdza Strategic Europe Quality Fund (ISIN: IE00B5VJPM77) has to be recognised as one of the best funds in the "Top Performer - UCITS Equity Funds" and "Top Performer - UCITS Equity Funds Long-Term Performance" categories at the Investors Choice Awards 2020.
The European equity Fund managed by Willem Vinke is among the top performers in its peer group due to its annualised performance of 11 percent during the period from January 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020. Over the longer term, i.e. from January 1, 2017 to April 30, 2020, the Fund also performed convincingly returning 6 percent on an annualised basis. The Investors Choice jury included the first four months of 2020 within the period under review in order to assess the effect of the COVID-19 stock market crash and thus the suitability of the funds for times of crisis.

Fund grade 1 from Euro Fund Research

Euro Fund Research has issued the EI Sturdza Strategic Europe Quality Fund a fund grade of 1 ("excellent"), making it one of the top funds among the European equity peer group. The analysis considered 351 European equity funds and ETFs, assessing each at a quantitative and qualitative level, with 34 of them achieving a grading of 1. Based on the points distribution, the EI Sturdza Fund is in the top third of the best funds. The quantitative rating takes into account the performance and volatility of the funds over the past four years, while the qualitative rating takes into account the consistency of the fund's management and investment strategy.
