Pareto Securities: TechIT conference gave insights into international technology companies and sector trends

Frankfurt, April 5, 2022. Pareto Securities AS, an international investment bank headquartered in Oslo and a long-standing partner of SMEs in Germany and Scandinavia, successfully hosted its TechIT conference in virtual form. Around 65 TechIT companies and industry experts from the DACH region and Scandinavia presented themselves to institutional investors and other interested audience members. On the one hand, investors gained a focused insight into the spectrum of technology companies. On the other hand, key market drivers and technology trends in the subsectors were examined in greater detail during panel discussions and expert talks. Industry experts discussed important topics such as the opportunities arising with cryptocurrencies and the digital euro, what artificial intelligence can accomplish in soccer and where the IT Service market is heading.

"In view of the large number of presenting TechIT companies and the consistently positive response from participants, we are very satisfied with the way the conference has gone. Many institutional investors used the opportunity to get a comprehensive insight into the presenting companies and the key market drivers of the TechIT sector. In 2021, growth companies from the technology sector were once again in high demand among institutional investors, so that the trend from the prior year continued, especially in Sweden. However, since the beginning of 2022, the number of IPO transactions has decelerated due to the geopolitical situation. It is therefore to be expected that the current year will be strongly affected by the challenging market environment and that investors will in the short term be rather cautious towards fast-growing TechIT business models.
