Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has been positioned as a Leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Infrastructure Managed Services, Worldwide report from market research and advisory firm Gartner, Inc.
The report analyzed 20 vendors and states that “a public cloud infrastructure managed service provider (MSP), in the context of this Magic Quadrant, is an MSP that offers managed services and professional services related to infrastructure and platform operations for one or more hyperscale integrated infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS)+platform-as-a-service (PaaS) providers.”
Among 19 other firms, Accenture was positioned for both completeness of vision and ability to execute. Completeness of vision assesses market understanding, market strategy, sales strategy, offering (product) strategy, business model, vertical/industry strategy, innovation, and geographic strategy. Ability to execute assesses product or service, overall viability, sales execution/pricing, market responsiveness/record, marketing execution, customer experience, and operations.
This is the second consecutive year in which Accenture was recognized as a Leader in the Gartner report.
