American Financial Group, Inc. Announces Notice of Redemption of 6.375% Senior Notes

American Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: AFG) announced today that it has given notice of its intention to redeem all of the outstanding 6.375% Senior Notes due June 2042. The Senior Notes, which have an outstanding principal balance of $230 million, will be redeemed on June 26, 2017, at 100% of principal plus accrued and unpaid interest to the redemption date. The Senior Notes are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbol “AFW.”
