American Water’s Vallejo, Tilden to Participate in P3 Water Summit

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the nation’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company, today announced Edward Vallejo, vice president, Investor Relations, and Kevin Tilden, vice president, California American Water will participate in The P3 Water Summit on April 3rd and 4th in San Diego, California.

On Wednesday, April 4th, Vallejo will participate on a panel that will discuss sustainability and implications for utility management and financing. The discussion will focus on what a sustainable utility looks like from a number of perspectives including rate management, debt financing, consumer transparency and investor interest. The panelists will outline best practices, and examine how utilities’ approach to Environmental, Sustainability & Governance (ESG) investing has evolved.

On the same day, Tilden will be part of a workshop that will look at identifying and overcoming barriers to regional drinking water projects in California. During this workshop, the panel and audience members will help identify top barriers and then provide feedback on how those obstacles have been overcome in other projects, or identify long-term structural changes that need to be made to facilitate these regional projects.
