Bright Horizons Family Solutions Named One of the 2017 Best Workplaces for Diversity by FORTUNE

Bright Horizons Family Solutions (NYSE: BFAM) has been named one of the 2017 Best Workplaces for Diversity by FORTUNE. The ranking considered more than 440,000 employee surveys from organizations in a wide range of industries across the U.S. Bright Horizons is the only child care organization on the list.

“From classrooms to staff rooms to our company offices, we have always believed that every workplace is better when it is made up of people from many cultures, backgrounds, and experiences, and that celebrating our diversity makes us a stronger organization,” said Bright Horizons CEO David Lissy, who also chairs Bright Horizons Diversity and Inclusion Council. “Teaching children in their earliest years to respect and celebrate everyone, treating each other with dignity, supporting families and employers with the resources to do the same, is all at the core of what we do at Bright Horizons.”

Bright Horizons demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a diverse community in a number of ways, including the CEO-chaired Diversity and Inclusion Council, as well as holding managers accountable for creating and sustaining an inclusive environment.

In November, Bright Horizons received a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2018 Corporate Equality Index, a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.

Great Place to Work®, the organization that administers the survey for FORTUNE evaluated more than 50 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included professional development, behaviors linked to innovation, leadership confidence and consistent treatment among employees of different backgrounds. The ranking also accounted for the share of women, people of color, Baby Boomers and LGBT individuals in the workplace.

Bright Horizons is joined on the FORTUNE list by many of its employer clients that provide their employees with work/life benefits to help manage their job and family responsibilities, including more than half of the top 10.

Vermilion Compass: Weekly Equity Strategy

Lockout Rally in Full Swing Continuing the trend from last week's U.S. Macro Vision (4/29/25), we are seeing more and more signs that lead us to believe the S&P 500 (SPX) made a major bottom at 4800-4820, which is where we initially discussed in our 4/8/25 Compass to look for a local bottom to develop.
