Meta Financial Group

Meta Financial Group is a unitary savings and loan holding company. Through its subsidiary, MetaBank (the Bank), the company is accepting deposits and investing those funds in its National Lending and Community Banking loan and lease portfolios. In addition to originating loans and leases, the Bank also occasionally contracts to sell loans, such as tax refund advance loans and government guaranteed loans, to third party buyers. The Bank also sells and purchases loan participations from time to time to and from other financial institutions, as well as mortgage-backed securities and other investments permissible under applicable regulations.
