Cinemark Celebrates the Academy Awards with Oscar Movie Week Program

Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CNK), a leader in the motion picture exhibition industry, celebrates the Academy Awards with its annual Oscar Movie Week program, February 20-26, 2017. Select Cinemark locations across the country will present all nine Oscar-nominated Best Picture films and the 10 nominated Best Live Action and Animated Shorts during the seven day period. Guests can purchase Cinemark's special Festival Pass for only $35 and watch Oscar Movie Week program film titles all week long. Festival Pass holders will receive an exclusive offer for a free small popcorn with a beverage purchase and be given a special Oscar Movie Week keepsake badge and lanyard.

“The Academy Awards is one of the most highly anticipated events every year and Cinemark celebrates it with our Oscar Movie Week program,” said James Meredith, Cinemark's SVP, Marketing and Communications. “We are excited to offer our guests additional opportunities to catch up on the films they may have missed or to enjoy their favorites from 2016 just one last time on the big screen before the big night.”

Cinemark’s Oscar Movie Week begins Monday, February 20 with the Best Picture nominees playing at various times throughout the week until Sunday afternoon, February 26. Additionally, all 10 of the nominated Best Live Action and Animated Shorts will show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 24-26, at participating locations.

Guests can also see the nominees on a single-film-basis at regular admission price. Tickets for the Oscar Shorts Program, which includes seeing all 10 Short films, are only $10 each. Guests can conveniently purchase tickets, Festival Passes, view participating theatres and check show times at cinemark.com/Oscar-movie-week.
