Evident Highest Ranked EHR Vendor for 8th Consecutive Year

Evident, a member of the CPSI (NASDAQ: CPSI) family of companies and a leading provider of electronic health record (EHR) systems and services, today announced that it has been recognized as the top-ranked inpatient EHR vendor for hospitals under 100 beds by Black Book Rankings. This is the 8th consecutive year that Evident has been recognized as the top EHR vendor for client satisfaction in small, rural and critical access hospitals under 100 beds.

“To once again be recognized as the top EHR vendor for hospitals under 100 beds is a reflection of our commitment to community healthcare and a lot of hard work by our team members,” said Boyd Douglas, president and chief executive officer of CPSI. “For nearly 40 years, we’ve partnered with rural and community hospitals to help improve the health and vitality of the patients and communities they serve. The challenges of delivering healthcare in a rural setting are very different than in an urban setting, and we understand the importance of the right solutions and support required to meet their unique needs.”

This survey utilizes validated responses to 18 performance areas of operational excellence to rank EHR providers in the under 100-bed category of hospitals. To ensure statistical confidence, Black Book Rankings require that top-10-ranked EHR providers must have a minimum of 10 unique clients represented.

“While we constantly ask our clients for feedback on how we are doing and what we could do better, the Black Book Rankings are very important to us,” Douglas added. “There is great value in the independent and objective market research they conduct. It helps us to better understand where we are meeting or exceeding client expectations and where we may need to make improvements, keeping us on the path to providing a great client experience.”
