AXA is a Proud Gold Sponsor of the 2017 New York City Pride Festival

AXA, a leading financial protection company, announced today that it is an official gold sponsor of NYC Pride 2017, one of the largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) events in the nation.

“We are extremely proud to be a part of NYC Pride through our sponsorship as well as our companywide participation,” said David Karr, chairman of AXA Advisors and executive sponsor of the AXA Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG). “At AXA, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our values and our practice, and we are committed to creating a truly inclusive workplace and organization that reflects the customers we serve and the communities in which we live and work.”

AXA was an industry pioneer in offering insurance benefits to same-sex couples, and the company was recently recognized as one of the “best places to work” for LGBT equality by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, earning a perfect score of 100 percent on their 2017 Corporate Equality Index for the fourth consecutive year. AXA’s Global and National ERGs, “Allies@AXA Pride” and “AXA Pride” both create and sustain an AXA presence in the LGBT community, fostering advocacy and action across the 64 countries where AXA’s employees and clients live and work.
