CyberArk Named Undisputed Privilege Management Leader by KuppingerCole

CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), the company that protects organizations from cyber attacks that have made their way inside the network perimeter, has been named the Overall Leader by independent analyst firm KuppingerCole in its Leadership Compass: Privilege Management 2017 report.

Maintaining its leadership position for the third year in a row, CyberArk surpassed 17 other vendors and was once again named the overall Leader, demonstrating unsurpassed advantages across product, market and innovation categories. The firm called CyberArk “the one to beat in Privilege Management,” and gave the CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution the highest possible product rating across security, usability, functionality, integration and interoperability categories.

According to Martin Kuppinger, founder and principal analyst, KuppingerCole, “the CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution has, for more than a decade, set the gold standard for Privilege Management and continues to be among the Leaders in this field.” With organizations embracing the cloud, ensuring the rigorous management of privileged users has become a business imperative. The report continues to emphasize the importance of privilege management, noting that “even the most sophisticated attacker would find it almost impossible to succeed without having access to privileged credentials.”

CyberArk was recognized for the strengths of its comprehensive CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution, including capabilities for threat analytics and alerts; support for AWS and Microsoft Azure management consoles; and its large and solid partner ecosystem.

“With a relentless focus on product innovation and helping customers proactively protect against advanced threats, we are proud to be recognized once again by KuppingerCole as the undisputed Privilege Management Leader,” said Roy Adar, senior vice president, product management, CyberArk. “With the rapid adoption of cloud and DevOps to drive business agility, security must remain a top business priority that is reinforced by Boards and senior executives. This report emphasizes the critical importance of securing privileged accounts as part of organizations’ digital transformation strategies.”
