Sling TV today became the first live and on-demand over-the-top (OTT) service available on LG Electronics’ line-up of smart TVs. Sling TV now supports most 2016 webOS 3.0 Smart TV models, and will be available on LG’s 2017 webOS 3.5 enabled-models in the coming months. Sling TV continues to lead the way in device compatibility as LG joins more than 15 platforms currently supported by Sling TV, including existing smart TVs, tablets, game consoles, computers, smartphones and streaming devices.

Starting today, current Sling TV subscribers can log in to their accounts on most 2016 LG Smart TV webOS 3.0 models. Internet connection and Sling TV app download required for access to service. Customers new to Sling TV may create their own entertainment experience, starting at $20 per month for Sling Orange or $25 per month for Sling Blue, directly from compatible LG Smart TVs, including some of the most popular sporting events, breaking news, TV series, movies and more, at an industry-leading price.
To add Sling TV to an Internet-connected compatible LG Smart TV, users can look for Sling TV in their LG launcher bar or press “Home,” select “Go to LG Content Store” and search for “Sling.” New customers may sign up for Sling TV directly from the app on LG smart TVs.
