Foundation Building Materials, Inc. Names John Moten Vice President, Investor Relations

Foundation Building Materials, Inc. (NYSE:FBM), a specialty distributor of wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, and mechanical insulation throughout the U.S. and Canada, today announced the appointment of John Moten as Vice President, Investor Relations. In this role, Mr. Moten will oversee the development and management of the Investor Relations department for Foundation Building Materials including communications with shareholders and sell-side analysts.

Mr. Moten brings more than 30 years of finance and capital markets experience to the Company and most recently served as President and Chief Investment Officer of BYW Investment Advisors. Prior to BYW, Mr. Moten was Vice President for Investor Relations for Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals where he established the investor relations department prior to the spin-off as a publicly traded company. He has also held positions of increasing responsibility as Institutional Portfolio Manager and Sell-side Analyst. Mr. Moten earned an undergraduate degree from Saint Lawrence University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
