Graña y Montero Releases Statement after Testimony from Odebrecht Ex-Executive

Graña y Montero S.A.A. (NYSE:GRAM) (BVL:GRAMONC1) (“the Company” or “Graña y Montero”) a leading Engineering and Construction company, announces its position on the statements made by the former representative of Odebrecht in Peru, Mr. Jorge Barata.

With respect to the statements made by the former representative of Odebrecht in Peru, Mr. Jorge Barata, published today, February 24, 2017 in a local publication:

We categorically deny such statements and reiterate that our Company and executives were not aware of, participated in, nor made any payments in connection with any type of bribe or reimbursement of any such payments made by Odebrecht.

Likewise, and with the same firmness, we reiterate our willingness to continue cooperating with the investigations regarding this case, with the utmost interest in letting the truth be known.

Grameenphone: Q1 CY23 Earnings Update:: c4% yoy earnings decline

GP posted c4% yoy profit decline in Q1 CY23. The earnings decline was mainly driven by the rise of finance expense and depreciation cost, totaling to BDT 1.8bn.
