The meat products are sold fresh, frozen, cured, smoked, cooked, and canned. The company's business is reported in four segments: Grocery Products, which processes, markets, and sells shelf-stable food products; Refrigerated Foods, which processes, markets, and sells pork, beef, chicken, and turkey products for retail, foodservice, deli, and commercial customers; Jennie-O Turkey Store, which processes, markets, and sells turkey products; and International and Other, which manufactures, markets, and sells the company's products internationally.
