Mercer's Barbara Marder, Senior Partner and Digital Tools Leader, was recently named one of Consulting® magazine’s Top 25 Consultants 2017 and the sole honoree for Excellence in Technology. For the last two years, Barb led a team in Mercer’s Innovation Hub, focused on disruptive solutions in recruiting and talent acquisition. Last year, her team launched Mercer Match, a job-matching and career advice app that uses gamification, neuroscience and machine learning to pre-qualify candidates and match them to sales and customer service roles. Based in Baltimore, Ms. Marder began her 30-year career with Mercer as an actuary in the firm’s Wealth business and since then has held a variety of leadership roles across the firm, including the International Consulting Group and the Global Mobility business.
