Clive A. Grannum Joins Materion as President, Performance Alloys and Composites

Materion Corporation (NYSE:MTRN) announced today that Clive A. Grannum has joined the Company as President, Performance Alloys and Composites, one of three reportable business segments. He reports to Jugal Vijayvargiya, President and Chief Executive Officer and is based in Mayfield Heights.

Mr. Grannum brings nearly 30 years’ experience building high-performing organizations within global specialty chemicals industry leaders, including Olin Corporation, Dow Chemical, Rohm and Haas, The ICI Group and The BOC Group. He has a strong track record of results across the Americas, Europe, Latin America and Asia leading transformational change, global portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, organic growth and operational excellence.

Most recently, Clive was President of Olin’s Global Chlorinated Organics business, the world’s largest chlorinated organics enterprise. Prior to Olin, he served as President, Global Chlorinated Organics at The Dow Chemical Company. Clive joined Dow Chemical in 2009 as part of its acquisition of Rohm & Haas and, following the acquisition, retained leadership of the global Plastics Additives business. He also held several roles of increasing responsibility at The BOC Group and The ICI Group with his last role being Vice President of ICI and Senior Vice President, Uniqema Americas.

Clive earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Yale University.
