Jostens Introduces Digital Jewelry Experience in Time for Back-to-School

Innovation allows students to digitally “try on” all types of class jewelry before buying

Minneapolis, Aug. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jostens, the nation’s leading provider of graduation products and custom class jewelry serving the K-12 and college education markets, has introduced an augmented reality experience that allows students to virtually “try on” class jewelry before buying.

The experience, called TRY by Jostens, is available in mobile and desktop format and requires no download or fee to access and “try on” hundreds of class jewelry designs offered by the company.

“The iconic class ring is familiar to most students, but not all are aware of the variety of styles and range of other class jewelry options Jostens provides, or how those options will look on them,” said Ann Carr, Jostens Chief Marketing Officer.  “With TRY by Jostens, we’re giving students a fun opportunity to not only become aware of their class jewelry options, but also wear them in a virtual setting.”

TRY by Jostens is available in mobile and desktop format at , and features over 70 types of class jewelry offered by the company, including class rings and tags, class lockets and bracelets, and their new line of class jewelry created in partnership with fashion jewelry brand Sarah Chloe.  Users take pictures of their hands or necklines to then place, size, and customize digital versions of Jostens class jewelry for their virtual “try on” experience.

TRY by Jostens is a great example of the innovation and love of jewelry that attracted me to Jostens in the first place,” said Zahava Zuber, founder and CEO of fashion jewelry brand Sarah Chloe.  “Jewelry is meant to be fashionable and fun, and TRY by Jostens helps students explore, experience, and find the perfect style of class jewelry for them.”
