Obuv Rossii Group Announces Operating Results for 4th Quarter and Full Year 2017

Obuv Rossii Group (MOEX: OBUV/ hereinafter the "Company" or, together with its subsidiary and dependent companies, "Obuv Rossii" or the "Group"), one of the two largest footwear retailers in Russia1, that includes 539 stores in 151 cities of Russia and two production facilities, announces its operating results for the fourth quarter and 12 months ended 31 December 2017.

4Q 2017 OPERATING HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Group consolidated unaudited revenue increased by 6.5% year-on-year to RUB 3.6 bln.
  • Group LFL sales increased by 10.9%, with the number of tickets growing by 4.7% and an increase in the average ticket size of 6.0%.
  • Group retail chain increased by 16 new directly operated stores. As of 31 December 2017, the total amount of points of sale stood at 535 stores, of which 113 operated as a franchise.

FY 2017 OPERATING HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Consolidated unaudited revenue of the Group increased by 8% year-on-year to RUB 10.8 bln.
  • Group LFL sales increased by 2.8%, with the number of tickets decreasing by 3.7% and an increase in the average ticket size of 6.8%.
  • Sales of footwear increased by 13% in volume terms to 2 million pairs.
  • Group retail chain increased by 83 new stores: 44 DOS and 39 operated as a franchise.
  • Total DOS selling space increased by 8.9% year-on-year to 40,100 sq. m.
  • The number of holders of the loyalty cards that are valid in all retail chains of the Group increased by 25% year-on-year and reached 1.95 million holders as of 31 December 2017.

A portfolio of identifiable brands, a diversified assortment of goods and supplementary services, the development of an omnichannel sales model, in addition to the wide-reaching geographical presence of the chain allowed the Company to show high operating results in 2017. The Group revenues benefited from the upward trend on the footwear market and the positive change in customer behavior as well. In 2017 Obuv Rossii increased its retail chain by 83 new stores. In 2017 the omnichannel sales of the Company, including e-commerce, grew up by 56%. Obuv Rossii intends to further maintain high growth rates in the key areas of the Group taking advantage of its own business model and high potential of the Russian footwear market.
